I had been trying to comment on some of your posts and send a thank you PM to halfshellvenus but LJ won't let me. :( One of the comments was long and really good and I lost it. *snivels pitifully*
I plan to try again tomorrow and yes, let's hope it doesn't last as long as last week!
*hugs* Bad LJ! I never write my comments directly... anywhere online actually, I use Semagic or Gmail (that auto-saves). That said, Semagic have eaten a comment or three because I hadn't properly saved the file :-/
That does make sense and there have been times when I've remembered to copy and paste just in case but, yanno...all this software is rather greedy if it will keep chomping on our comments!!
I'm the kind to wear belt with suspenders (aka be too quite cautious) that said, because thinking about it, I ALWAYS do that, copying before hitting send, even when sending emails at work. I don't necessarily paste it in another document, but I keep in the clipboard long enough just in case. I know. I'm a nerd *sigh*
LOL - because you can never be too careful! Copying and pasting everything before hitting 'send' or 'post comment' certainly does make sense...better to be a nerd than crying over losing something good or something that has taken up your time. :)
